Northrop Grumman, Unmanned Systems 1999-Present
Systems Administration for 75+ UNIX servers (Solaris 2.5.1  - Solaris 9, AIX, IRIX and Linux).  Additionally responsible for MIS duties in mixed UNIX/2000/NT/XP/Mac environment including user maintenance, backup procedures, disaster recovery, equipment inventory, Y2K compliance, and end user support for 1500+ employees.  Responsible for configuring and maintaining web servers (IIS & iPlanet, CGI, SSL, Livelink, Oracle), mail servers (sendmail and Exchange), firewalls (PIX & Firewall-1), external network connections and DNS servers.  Also responsible for internal web design and employee commmunications via corporate intranet and public internet.

System Administrator responsible for daily maintenance of UNIX servers for 18,500 subscriber Internet Service Provider (ISP), User Manual production, software installer development, internal training programs, webserver content/outages and CGI development. Administered Apache, Netscape and IIS webservers on NT 4.0 and Sun machines, including CGI development in PERL, FrontPage, Java, secure transactions, and website design. Responsible for internal support and end-user training in a Windows (3.1, 95, 98, NT), Macintosh and Sun environment. Responsible for mail, news and webserver administration, both in intranet and internet environments.   As Technical Support Supervisor was responsible for scheduling, training and supervision of technical support team, domain name registration, and maintenance of DNS tables and end-user support.

Was responsible for initial installation and configuration of various hardware and software applications, server maintenance (UNIX, NT Win95, Mac), training of support and sales staff, production of manuals, press releases, training materials and web development, both internal and contracted.
